Whenever you see an NJS track chain fitted to a track bike, you would notice that the joining link is held with a flathead screw and a 6mm nut. Quite often people do not tighten the 6mm nut adequately and it comes loose resulting in an unsafe bike.
The Checker allows you to quickly tighten the link before each race.
The checker is designed with a knurled edge handle to provide easy torque and control. The tool is used as a simple inspection tool for use before each race. It is also used by head mechanics in New Zealand and Denmark and will be seen at the Tokyo2020 Olympics. Made from heat treated, hardened carbon steel and is designed to last a true lifetime.
